Book Club: The Rejection of Philosophy & the Worship of Action

The Modern Era has brought a shift in our thinking: we have rejected philosophy as the handmaiden to theology and replaced her with “The Science”. How does one find balance when the pendulum of thought swings too far away from contemplation, accepting only empirical data? We must find the anchor point so we will not be tossed back and forth by the waves of philosophical polarity.
